On four separate occasions in March 1905 Jeanne Weber was the only person present at the deaths of four children, all four had been fit and well and had bruises on their necks but the medical examiner judges their deaths to be down to natural causes. When a fifth child is found gasping for breath with Jeanne stood next to him looking crazed she was finally charged but she managed to convince a jury of her innocence. Free to continue her murderous spree she changed her name and moved on.
