He visits Skye, the largest and most northerly isle of the Inner Hebrides, which has a long and colourful history. He is welcomed by the young heir of Dunvegan Castle, stronghold of the famous MacLeod clan, he learns how to play the bagpipes with one of the world’s best, and he uncovers the mystery of the Loch Ness monster with Dick Raynor, its pursuer for 50 years.
Vincent lands at Casablanca airport, with trainee pilots awaiting his arrival, and takes part in their training.
