The anti-abortion brigade is building up its troops – and the new recruits are getting younger and younger.
Pro-lifers across the globe have always stated a clear agenda – the goal is to protect the lives of unborn babies. But with more and more children being placed on the front lines of this fight, their propaganda is becoming increasingly unsettling. Primary school students march alongside their parents in protests, while American kids chant slogans to deter women outside Planned Parenting clinics. In one high school, a teacher showed his class a fallacious anti-abortion video containing shocking images of miniature corpses: charred, dismembered and bloodied bodies of ‘babies that could have been’. The religious zeal that motivates much of this movement is even prompting parents to seek out like-minded neighbours in cloistered Christian communities, cutting their children off completely from the secular world.
