Everyone knows that ‘Sex Sells’. From the small business she started in 1946, Beate Uhse’s company is now one of the most well-known in the erotic industry. The company is divided into four parts; the erotic boutiques, the supermarkets, internet/catalogue sales and performances. There are around 10,000 different items that give hours of pleasure to men and women. Over the years the business has seen a lot of changes. Today’s clients are no longer mostly male, today women are the target audience. We filmed the company during a period of radical change.
