A wife desperate to find her missing husband – but is it all that it seems to be? Isabelle Lemaire, a 31-year-old mother of 5, reported the disappearance of her husband, Jean-Luc, a 47-year-old police officer. She appears to be devastated and says that she is worried that her husband is dead. She explains that they are in debt and that they have been threatened several times by his partner.
The search begins. Isabelle Lemaire contacts local media to spread the word about her missing husband. However, Jean-Luc is not found and the police rule out suicide. The missing man’s car is found empty in the middle of a clearing, completely burnt out. The police then discover that Isabelle, his grieving wife, leads a double life, and has several lovers.
