Richard Parks, ex-Welsh rugby international, now world-record holding endurance athlete, is on six new adrenaline-filled adventures. He will be exploring the most extreme environments that his homeland of Wales has to offer, and will also be showing off its most stunning and wild landscapes.
Richard Parks is on a three-day, adrenaline fuelled, wet and wild coastal adventure. He’ll climb, scramble, and swim the inter-tidal zones of the cliffs around the St David’s Head peninsula in Pembrokeshire. He will coasteer the very rocks where the sport was first invented, starting on the cliffs near St. Non’s End, finishing at Abereiddy. He’ll also kayak the wild waters around Ramsey Island, where the Irish Sea meets the Atlantic, braving the weather, the storms, and the tempestuous waters of Ramsey Sound. He’ll also be meeting up with people for whom adventure, the sea, and these special rocks are a way of life.
