Seven months later, we return to the girls profiled in ‘Facing Anorexia’ to see if any are improving. Out of the nine girls, only one appears to be winning her fight against Anorexia Nervosa. Two of the girls almost died last summer. An other girl attempted suicide. A fourth was declared healthy and discharged from hospital only to lose more than a quarter of her bodyweight six weeks later. This painful sequel shows how difficult it is to overcome anorexia and for these girls to receive proper treatment.
