Vincent’s journey begins in Toulouse, starting point for the original Aéropostale route. At the Airbus factories, the biggest aircrafts in the world rub shoulders with vintage collectibles. Vincent climbs aboard the latest model of the legendary Bréguet XIV. He stays in Saint-Exupéry’s old chambers at Le Grand Balcon Hotel and stops by Au Père Louis, the gastronomic final stop for pilots before they would embark on the hazardous journey.
After braving the turbulence, Vincent arrives in Jerez del Marquesado, a village famed for bringing aid to and rescuing the injured passengers of a US Navy plane crash in 1960.
