Paparazzi: Sharks of the French Riviera

Come the Cannes film festival and the start of the summer season, the stars decamp to the French Riviera. As the temperature goes up, the clothes come off, the champagne corks pop, and celebs throw caution to the wind, resulting rich pickings for the paparazzi.

We join the paps as they stalk the stars from Cannes to St Tropez, using a host of creative methods and techniques to get a good shot. Old school snapper Laurent hangs out on the rocks with super powerful telescopic lenses, whilst Franck has got himself a speed boat to get images of people on the yachts. And one team of bright young things has created a remote controlled drone, capable of capturing images from above. Competition is fierce, especially when it comes to images of the ubiquitous Paris Hilton. Yes, she’ll pose for anyone, but who will get the best shot?
