Hawaii is a living land, a dynamic force. Here, Man is dwarfed by Nature whose unbridled force rules supreme. First we meet Scott. He’s explored the rugged landscape from the Waimea Canyon to the Napali Coast, home to the island’s earliest inhabitants.

Then In Oahu, Yuko is a sailplane pilot. She is always on the lookout for the slightest breeze to satisfy her passion.

Finally, we meet Olivier, a French astronomer, spends a good part of his time on the summit of Big Island, at 4207 meters.
