Over the last 6 months, our documentaries have continued to receive well-deserved recognition and create a remarkable impact, bringing in an array of awards and nominations at various festivals across the globe.

Notably, Cuba and Alaska (2025, dir. by Yegor Troyanovsky, produced by 2Brave Productions, Tag Film and Clin d’Oeil Films) has wonBest Documentary Award at the prestigious Rome Film Fest 2025, World Premiere (International Competition) at Sheffield DocFest 2025, Directors’ Week Jury Prize and the International Audience Award at the Brussels International Film Festival 2025,Jury Award at Central Scotland Documentary Festival 2025, as well as receiving countless other nominations. The European Parliament also held a screening for Cuba and Alaska on 11th November. Cuba and Alaska was also screened at PÖFF Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, MOLDOX International Documentary Film Festival in Moldova, TRT Documentary Awards in Turkey, and Watch Docs Human Rights in Film International Film Festival in Poland.

The eponymous film focusing on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (2025, written by Yves Jeuland, Lisa Vapné and Ariane Chemin, produced by Particules Docs) has been selected at various festivals, such as the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, Ji-hlava International Documentary Film Festival in Czech Republic and MOLDOX International Documentary Film Festival. This film premiered in the US at DOC NYC 2025, within the ‘International Competition’ section.

Our film The Social Trap: 5 Women Vs The Big 5 (2024, dir. by Elisa Jadot, produced by Babel Doc and Together Media) which follows 5 women seeking to fight back against the Big 5 powerful tech giants, has continued to thrive at festivals, winning Best International Documentary Award at Melbourne Documentary FIlm Festival 2025, and has also been selected at Raindance Film Festival 2025 (UK), Biografilm Festival 2025 (Italy), amongst several others. In November, the film premiered in the US at the Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival 2025 and in Moldova at MOLDOX International Documentary Film Festival.

Shrinking Space (2025, dir. by Cristina Mora & Norma Nebot, produced by Fora de Quadre), our film which tells the stories of aid workers being targeted, arrested and imprisoned for defending the rights of Palestinian people, won the Audience Award for Best feature at Olhares do Mediterrâneo Women’s Film Festival 2025 in Portugal, and has been selected at a variety of Film Festivals, including the Palestine Arts Film Festival Zurich 2025 in Switzerland, and Directed by Women Festival 2025 in Spain. In November, it had its premiere in the US at Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival 2025, and won the Edward Snowden Award in Germany at the 10th edition of Internationales Festival Zeichen der Nacht.

The Family Approach, (2024, dir. by Daniel Abma, produced by Bandenfilm) the film following 3 youth workers, highlighting the incredible and vital work they do for the children which need it most, has also had a very successful run, amassing 10 selections, a nomination, and 3 awards since June: this includes the German Cinematography Award at the Deutscher Kamerapreis (German Camera Awards), Non-Fiction Film Award at Goldener Spatz (German Children Media Festival), and the Award for the most touching film at the “Welcome Home” Film Festival Bernau 2025.
Our environmental films have also garnered much success: our brand new acquisition Ojos de Agua: Freeing the Waters of Chile (2025, dir. by Marion Esnault and Marcelo Lara, produced by Claire Babany and Elénoire Boissinot) which reveals the struggle to access drinking water as a result of the Chilean political climate, has been selected by Festival Atmosphères and Festival Le Grand Bivouac, both in France. We are super excited to see what still awaits this powerful film. Furthermore, our 2023 film Outgrow the System continues to thrive: following over a hundred impact screenings around the world, and 15 festival selections over the last 3 years, the incredibly impactful film won the Jury Award for Best Film in Human Development at Films for Future Festival 2025 in Switzerland.

Finally, we’ve seen other notable achievements within our catalogue. Our 2024 Israel: Ministers of Chaos (dir. by Jérôme Sesquin, produced by Yuzu Productions) won an Etoile de la SCAM in France, followed by a screening at Festival Vrai de Vrai in Paris in November, whilst Lie to Me (2025, dir. by Bår Tyrmi, produced by Hacienda Film), won the Edward Snowden Award at Festival Internacional Signos da Noite in October 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal, after an incredibly successful run of 11 selections over the last two years. Achille Lauro: The Terror Cruise (2025, dir. by Simone Manetti, produced by B&B Film) has won the prize for Best Italian Feature Film at International Documentary Festival Visioni dal Mondo 2025, and Blank Plate: Creating the Best Restaurant in the World (2025, dir. by Alan Fàbregas and Ramon Pardina, produced by Abacus) won the Best Feature at Ceres Food Film Fest 2025.
