Two fishermen discovered the lifeless body of Serge Martz, 44 years old, floating in a pond. Initially it looks like suicide, but examination of the body shows signs of strangulation. But who could possibly wish the death of this man, a peaceful father? On hearing the news his young 25-year-old wife, Cindy Senocq, collapses in the police office. She appears to be devastated. She tells the investigators that in the months leading up to his death, Serge was the victim of two unsolved attacks.
