Her Name is Bo

Going through the process of changing your sex and ‘coming out’ as transsexual to your friends and colleagues is always a difficult process. Now imagine doing it at the age of 58, when you are already a well-known TV reporter with a wife and children. That’s what Belgian journalist Bo van Spilbeeck felt compelled to do. And she decided to film the entire process.

A courageous and inspirational testimony to being true to oneself, against all prejudices and discrimination.
