Georges Alexandre Sarret was working as a legal advisor in 1930s Marseille. An ambitious man, he aspired to be elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in southern France. He was also a talented con man who, with the help of his accomplices, the Schmidt sisters, and without any remorse, made his victims disappear.
